For the warp (the lengthwise threads stretched on the loom), use a strong, low-stretch thread such as FireLine 4 lb (approximately 0.15 mm) or 6 lb (approximately 0.20 mm). For the weft (the thread carried on the needle and passed through each row of beads), KO or TOHO One-G (approximately 0.17–0.20 mm) are good choices, while FireLine can also be used. Choose a thread that is strong enough to maintain good tension and fine enough to pass smoothly through 11/0 seed beads.
